Was it in Canada?

Did those maple syrup loving hockey fans have their own earthquake?

If we are really lucky here....Canada will have broken away from the US...a literal crack along the border...

No more invading canadians!!!!

LOL!

It was a 5.0 magnitude in the Ontario-Quebec area and we felt it here in West Virginia!

I'm much nearer Ontario and didn't feel a thing...although my daughter called from Toronto to tell me about it. Marine 1, 2 and 3 had just landed and she was taking pics when the quake happened.

Cool Re: Earthquake in Canada

Yup. Playhouse square evacuated all their buildings and sent their staff home, well some of them. Too bad I just work in rented space there and not for them!

I'm on the third floor, and when I felt the vibrations I looked out the window to see if a large truck or fire engine was in the road... nothing there. That's when I guessed earthquake. The last time something like this happened here (several years ago) I didn't notice but my boss did. He's a California native and says that the "feel" of a quake is so distinctive that anyone from an active seismic area can recognize one instantly.
