Smile Duration of authorized period of stay

Hi guys
It's been ages since I've been here. I need your help once more.
My mum is coming to visit from Nigeria, the last time she came, I got her a six months ticket and she got a 6 months 1-94 duration stay.
I need to know the standard (if there's anything like that) length of authorised stay that is always on the 1-94 forms?
Is the duration given to you dependent upon the length of your return ticket?
Can she get a 6 months 1-94 with a 1 month ticket. Things are tight. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Her I-94 will be for the lenght of her visa. The ticket has nothing to do with it.

The I-94 will be for the length of time the officer admits her for; nothing to do with the visa. She can turn up on the last valid date of her visa and get a 6 month admission (6 months is typical, especially if she has a history of not abusing her stay).
You're right: the ticket has nothing to do with it either
