Driving offence - will this jeopardise K1 visa?
Hello all
This is mainly a question for the lawyers on here but, if anyone else has any
insight, I would love to hear it.
I am currently on Day 76 waiting for my NOA2 from Nebraska and, if I get an
interview, it will be at the London Embassy. My problem is that I was
convicted of careless driving in 1989 when I was 18 and got a small fine. I
wonder if it worthwhile going through the process if this means I am going to
be turned down in the end. I have heard rumours of a woman in England being
turned down because of "several bounced cheques twenty years ago" being on her
police record.
Best wishes
Kate

I don't know yet, because my police certificate has not arrived. I guess I will
have to just wait and see.
