Hi,
The good folks at the RTA punched a lovely big hole in my UK license when I applied for my Oz license - does this now mean that my license is invalid in the UK? I'm returning home soon and not sure if I'll have to apply for a new license.
Cheers,
Methven

No, do what I did. Just apply for a replacement licence at your new address. I told them i had lost mine(which was actually true as i didnt get a hole punched in mine) You just pay a small fee. I think it was about £17

My concerns are that I may lose some of the categories that I currently hold, and I do have most of them!!
Scenario; we move to Canada via the PNP (Long Haul Trucking), I retrain and get a 'Canadian HGV licence', 2 years later we decide to return back to UK (well, you never know!!).
Will I have had to sacrifice my UK licence once in Canada?
Will all current categories be put back on my UK licence when/if I return in 2 years time?
If not, it would cost me thousands to re-sit all of the licence categories again; something of a worry.
