This whole mis-labeling of meat reminds me of my nights on the expat drinking hill of Itaewon in Korea.

They used to sell 'beef-cheese lamian' the local equivalent of an after beers kebab.

When questioned about the authenticity of the beef, the seller said "yes, yes, pig-beef, no problem"

What about too few legs? ..... Mussels, clams, oysters, etc.?

I would argue that living in water is a mitigating factor, because I wouldn't eat something that lives on land and has more that four legs, or fewer than two (I don't know anyone who has anything good to say about snails.)

At least the meat came from a hoofed animal, ...... I hear that much is not necessarily certain in Korea.

It's a tough call.

For
Number of limbs appear to be correct.
It does have a face.
It's ass appears to be locatable (by position of pants).

Against
It looks like a vegetable. (You wouldn't want to eat one of those by mistake).
Annnd...

Ok, I'm in for a slice.

Got any Branston?
