The waiter probably thought it was a little strange too! But the customer is always right...

Wow - good memory! A tornado did hit Blue Ash - while I was in it - my apartment was condemned as a result. Not an experience I'd recommend. For a while Blue Ash was called "Blue Trash" during the clean up.

Sure they do - but typically in Chinese restaurants!

I always ask for hot tea at the Chinese, they dont do it with milk though, but I rather like it even though it look's like piss water.

Why not?

I love a cuppa with milk (no sugar) but on a Texas morning it is like eating hot oatmeal: you do NOT want to warm up inside as it is already hot enough outside! I do agree that ever since "discovering" proper English hot tea, it is a real treat in the winter.

I assimilated early on and took to iced tea like a duck to water - but I did arrive here in the middle of a FL summer.

I make mine with loads of lemon in it though.

I LOVE getting cuddles! The physical contact with people was something I really missed in England.

When I first moved there I used to try to kiss everyone, just like I would in Spain, but people were very intimidated by my keenness to kiss them and often would stand back and look at me like I was crazy .. I stopped doing it eventually but I always found it a bit odd to be introduced to somebody and just say hello and nothing else ...

When we lived in the UK I only kissed relatives and close friends.

I hate all that fake pretending to kiss one's cheek stuff. :curse:
