Default Did somebody say McDonalds

Interesting article about how McDonalds are putting more information about how their food is prepared online and making more open to the public.

http://money.cnn.com/2005/10/24/news...reut/index.htm

Personally, I think McDonalds is just plain boring. Most stores rely on cheap labor so what pictures I see in the ADS are never matched in the store (why should I expect any different).

I maybe eat one every 3 months and even my teenagers would prefer a home cooked, mince, mash and beans..

Just my 2 cents but I was wondering, has McDonalds has it's day...

Wendy's kicks *ss.
Big fan of the chilli and the spicy bacon cheddar ranch chicken burger.

Used to only go to mcd's at home for breakie but have yet to try it here. Somehow I doubt that they'll be able to rustle me up a bacon and sausage mcmuffin with cheese and brown sauce.

Jack in the Box kicks butt ....Sourdough Jack and the Bacon Cheeseburger Ciabata are excellent!....much nicer than anything McD's serve up.

Whattaburger is the local favourite...we went there once and hated it though, must be an acquired taste.

If I have to eat fast food, Wendy's is the place, especially the baked potato, but the chili .... no way, that's not chili, at least not here in Texas!

Or maybe they were having a bad day when I ordered it, but that watery substance with vegtables floating around in it is not what Texans call chili :-)

I wouldn't eat mickie d's (see I'm learning the lingo) if I was starving to death. I could count the number of burgers I've had (containing "beef") on one hand, and none of those have been in the last 15 years. McDonalds will continue to succeed though. Its part of the culture here.
If you're in Texas, whataburger are pretty good. The shakes and grilled chicked sandwiches are good
