Yeah, a lot of the moon hoax stuff has. I'm in the middle with it. Maybe they did go, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they did fake it just to beat the USSR. After all, they did get their asses kicked with the first man in space

And going to the moon was one hell of a leap (or giant leap ) from burning astronauts alive to walking on the moon.

Im pretty much the same. Going to the moon was a massive political coup but scientifically and financially pointless. We already knew all there is to know about it from observations and unmaned probes. The cost of putting a man on the moon to pick up a few rocks is monstrous, compared to using a remote unmaned device.
I have no doubt we have landed on the moon with unmaned vehicles but with real live men? The juries out on that one.
