Default Denver Airport

i arrived in Denver today - not really a biggie. But for the tram from the terminal to the baggage claim and ground transportation. It was just too good. The guy making the announcements which is obviously taped should be making millions. I expected the lone ranger to be waiting when the doors opened.

little things please little minds. btw the music was amazing too.

She'll be coming round the mountain! Ha-ha.

DIA kicks ass, but remember, it's also the hub of the New World Order and/or a huge detention and processing facility/concentration camp when they impose martial law.

Do do-do-do; Please Hang On....

Did people clap and cheer when you landed? That's the one thing I've never understood people do over here. Once on a flight, when we touched down, usual claps, cheers and whistle broke out... so I joined in the spirit and yelled - "3 Cheers for the Pilot - Hip Hip...." Nothing, zip.. quiet and people stared at me as though I was the moron.

Anyway, Welcome to the Mile-Hi City!

That has got to be the worst airport to land and take off in. Been through there 3 times now and its a white knuckler ride both ways.

I like the announcements on the Skylink at DFW. When the recorded chap says "Doors are closing." I can't help but wonder whether he's talking about the course of our lives in general, rather than the specific doors on this particular train.

DIA looks like a collection of white circus tents. Hubby says they are meant to represent the mountains. I've never had any problems going in or out of DIA. The one white knuckler was going down into Salt Lake City going between the high peaks of the Rockies. It looked as if the mountains were just a couple of feet from the wing tips. Enjoy your stay in the area DeeDee.

Things to do in Denver? It seems rather flat...

In fact, decent things to do in Co. once my obligation here is complete..

Estes Park?

I was at DIA last night, now I could be wrong but judging from some of the Ladies I saw coming in, the Democrats will not be short of company....
