You would think that after living in the US for 7 years I would be more into having lots of money.

Think the funniest one I saw was some guy who quit his job to play and walked away with a fiver - ooh it was cringeworthy

For me to watch the UK version I would have to download it off the internet. I don't have time with all the other UK shows and documentaries I like to watch
And, of course, there is the fact that watching Noel Edmunds make an idiot of himself will not help my memories of him on Swap Shop! Loved that show on a Saturday morning

The biggest problem with LI is the traffic. But then, coming from the UK it isn't bad

Ooh that sounds v nice. You'll have to give me directions to the pub! I've got my financee addicted to pubs now - you much prefer them to bars
Yeh the traffic is horrible! Not sure if we're gonna stay in LI as it's expensive but we'll see how we get on

Yes, it is expensive but then anywhere round Manhattan is expensive. So if you are tied to work here then it's 6 and 2 threes on which side you live. We used to live on the NJ side and it's no cheaper. Some things may appear cheaper but you get clobbered in other places. For us staying here, it is the schools. Really good schools and I like NYstate policies on education. Very similar to how the schools are back home. We have 3 children so that side of things are important right now.
When you get settled in, let me know and I'll give you directions to the pub. There are also some fantastic Indian restaurants in Queens.
