Well i have to admit that I worked in a supermarket for a short period and experienced the worst manners, especially from old people. I worked damned hard there (and looked out back for people). I always stopped situations by suggesting I get the manager before they could ask, or suggesting that the supermarket down the road may have a better selection (can you tell my heart wasnt in it?)

car dealerships are the worst, i recently was shopping for a new car and turned up at a dealership - all the sales people were standing together and as soon as someone turned up they would swarm onto their victim, i mean potential sale and bombard them with pushy sales tactics, granted i wouldnt want an empty car lot with no one around to ask any questions, but a middle ground would be nice.
