depends...where the missus works, you get 9 weeks, which you can take pre natal or post...and that includes doctors visits etc...It is a bit of a joke over here..

Just interested in all this. It also seems that most time taken is not a full pay.

I understand under the FMLA you are entitled by law to take 3 months - but not paid.

Dreadful.

My goodness!

If I am not being too nosy I'd be v. interested to hear from you all about what kind of maternity leave your jobs give.

I work for a British company so they are v. generous. I know American companies can be awful... Keep 'em coming!
