I live in Mass but commute into CT every day for work. Hadn't come across the nutmeg thing before.

I can think of one good thing about CT ................... The stretch of I-91 between the MA line and Hartford has to be the smoothest bit of interstate highway in New England.... At least they got something right ... Trouble is that going horth you get so used to the wonderfull ride then cross into MA and hit a washboard at 65 mph

Tisk-tisk it's the official name!

I'm 10 minutes south of New Haven. I take the Mass Pike from Lee every weekend.

Yes!!! well actually I split my time between NYC and Greenwich, CT.
where abouts are you?

edited: just noticed you said New Haven... I was up there this weekend just gone!

But isn't it so much more than that? When I walk out of there in a daze (having not seen daylight for 3 hours) I almost expect to see the North Circular instead of the I-95...

Give us a shout next time your in the area! If you could see over the Rail Road tracks from I-95 right after you pass exit 34 you'd see my house.

Friends with a lovely couple; male is the Brit; who are former users of BE. They're in Fairfield (exit 29?). Great chap and lovely Mrs. Loves to gamble with me in Foxwoods.
