Default Confusion on approved I-130's

Today we received in the mail from the Nat'l Visa Center the DS-3032 and I-864. They are also requesting $65 each for processing of the I-864???? I am here in the US on a K3 visa, I fly home to Canada in less than 2 weeks to bring my son home to the US on a K4 visa. We'd really like to wait till my son's here and I have my EAD and a bit of work behind me ($$$) before we apply for AOS. We WILL NOT be going to Montreal for AOS, but applying here in the US. What should we do about these papers we received in the mail today? Do we ignore them and adjust status within the US come Jan or Feb/03?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jo

Default Re: Confusion on approved I-130's

Bumping up as I'm not finding any info on what to do about the affidavit package we received.
I called the DOS # listed on the letter they mailed me and I get a computer company. I called the INS customer service # and they gave me a different # to the DOS, which, after going thru all that automated crap, disconnected me.. So I went to the DOS website and found their email address and emailed them asking what we're to do with it seeing as I'm already in the States.. their reply: A standard email back on how the K3/K4 visa is obtained.. *sighhhhhh*
Anyone out there know what we're to do with these forms? Why there is a $65 charge for affidavit processing fee?
Thanks to any one who can shed some light on this for us.
Jo
