Oh i know... but it's comfort food for me since I am in hillbilly country :P

Cheese on toast is good comfort food too... and i found some awesomesuper sharp cheese that is non-plastic tasting and bread that doesn't taste full of sugar, which makes it feel like home :)

I found some good ones in HEB earlier this week - thats been my breakfast every day this week. Never had them down as breakfast food (more often 4 o'clocks with a pot of tea), but somehow it works...

No, No, NO....don't go there again! We're not due a marmite thread for at least another 2 months......

And anyway, we all know that no-one in their right mind would ruin a crumpet by putting the unmentionable stuff on it!

And sorry for stirring the marmite argument... blame it on my dad trying to force feed me it as a kid... the mental scarring should subside in time... :P

Yeah, thats good....one of my favorites, but can't handle it too often!
Have you been to the Angus Grill, just a little bit further along Westheimer? Same style, but lower key - not quite as good, but they do a lunch session for about 12bucks, which is awesome value. Used to meet the other half there occasionally when she worked in the Galleria.
