Coldplay
....tickets are going on sale (with those robbers Ticketmaster) next week.
I think they're doing a tour of large US cities....I only looked at the local info for the New York metro area:
PNC Arts Center (on the Garden State Parkway)
Saturday 3rd September
http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/00...ink=tm_home_h1
Madison Square Garden, NYC
Tuesday 6th September
Wednesday, 7th September
http://www.ticketmaster.com/venueart...ink=tm_home_k4
For the rest of the US, just go to http://www.ticketmaster.com and check your local listings.....

I'm with you on that - highly overrated, and not to mention the music is incrediblty annoying.

I like some of their music, but looking at them as a live act they look like just any other brit-pop band, the kind I used to pay $8 to see at the Usher Hall (along with guys like Cast) in Edinburgh. Missus loves them though.

From a profile on the BBC website:
"Martin's songs, characterised by minimalist, impressionistic rock tunes, resonating with shades of Kraftwerk and U2 and lyrics tinged with wistful thoughts of romance and darkened by existentialist angst, often veer inexorably towards the melancholic. "
What a load of pretentious w***.
If he's so creative etc. why did he call his daughter Apple - forever to be known as Apple Martini, surely.
