Ok I will take a look at Burke and Oakton. what range of salary would make living comfortable for a family of 4 in the Fairfax area, specifically Burke and Oakton?

Median family income in Oakton is $120k but to live 'comfortably' is really a definition that's hard to define. I think that amount would be a modest and adequate salary for the area, but added expenses (such as a second car, bigger house, foreign travel) might require more income.

Burke's average is $134k.
