Re: Christmas Presents - Good Websites/Pages
I did think about a car, but a good one appears to run into major sums of money. And I'm not even sure how long he would really play with it. 14 is an odd age - not a child, but not grown up either.
He loves all sorts of science/engineering type stuff. I just need the right website or shop. Sigh.

I'm still looking for inspiration, just on John Lewis and saw these. Thought they were quite cute, and maybe something you/your daughter might like.

The dude has an AR Drone ($300) and a Sphero ($80-on sale at the moment) from Brookstone. Both controlled by an app on his iPhone or iPad. I know the AR Drone is expensive but it is awesome despite the 15 minute(isn) fly time, we bought an extra battery for extra use.
$300 for the other thing is a bit steep.

Yep literally rolls around and changes color and can go in the water. There are games (apps) that you can play with it, build obstacle courses for it, pi$$ off the cat, try to knock over granny - all good clean fun

I'm getting 'Cards Against Humanity' for a couple of the older teens, they'll think it's hilarious and that I'm the cool aunt, and it'll horrify their parents
