Default Christmas Presents - Good Websites/Pages

I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet but as I have gifts to buy for here and UK, I like to get ahead. (I wrote my Christmas Cards today )

Here's a nice one I found today personalcreations.com - I love the snowball fight in a bucket as the chances of us seeing snow in Texas is remote.

For back in the UK, I have used:

Amazon
Thorntons
John Lewis
M&S
and I got some lovely glass name plaques from www.iridescentglassdesign.co.uk

Parents-in-law are getting a roku and years subscription to Netflix.

Anyone else found anything exciting?

I send hampers from Harrods to my parents as they for sure would never shop in there plus my Mum loves the presentation boxes. Also M&S as they deliver gift cards..

My friends in the UK, before my marriage, were all nerdy co-workers, engineers and IT people; I ordered things to amuse and perplex from this site (link opens to my favorite page) http://www.puzzleguru.com/buy/japane...ayama-puzzles/

Now that I have family, amazon.co.uk is the website of choice, though any UK website/seller is in play.

My Mum is so critical that I know any present will be wrong.

How frustrating!! If my husband's mum was like that I think I'd ask his sister to take her round the shops and buy her something she fancied that was under a certain prearranged price.

My mums got to the "I've got everything I need" stage, so our present is always one of those hardback, annual size photo books with lots of photos of what the kids have been up to, plus one of the pocket sized ones so she can show her friends. Bit cheesey, but she likes them, and it helps with the issues someone else is posting about re grandparents missing grand kids. My sisters, who both live within a mile of my mam have given up on presents as well...instead, they take her on day trips to places she would otherwise find hard to get to. Not really a present, as they take her on lots of trips anyway, but she always knows which one was her "Christmas trip"

Nice link...I can see some money being spent there! Along geek/nerdy lines, thinkgeek.com normally gets visited by my credit card around this time of year!

http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/ as a thinkgeek.com local variation.

Though I don't really do presents to the UK, except to my mother and it's normally something small and hand made.

Fishpond and Bookdepository. They offer free worldwide shipping so I use them quite frequently.

Ooo. Fishpond does look good. Now can you please tell me what I want from there? Which is to say what my family wants?

Here's another one: foldableme.com, it takes a bit of time to set up, but I ordered one for my son and they are good quality, only $12 and free worldwide shipping.

Just did Christmas cards to the UK crowd over the weekend, love Moonpig! I'm never that organized!

Grandkidlets will be getting something from Amazon, daughter and son-in-law will also get something from there and MIL will get Amazon for her birthday (in December as well, lucky me!) and then M&S for Christmas. So much easier this year, not quite sure why I made it so hard every year!

That sounds really great. In the end, the gift of time, is probably the best gift you can give. The photos are excellent as well.
