Default Career Advice

I just got notification this morning that my EAD has been approved and that I should have the card within 30 days (this was updated 8 days ago online).

When would it be prudent to start getting my resume out and looking for work? I know that I will not be able to start working until the EAD arrives but am I able to start looking and interviewing prior to this fact?

Would really like some advice as I am going stir crazy in the house all day on my own and could really use the opportunity to get out and talk to people (well people who are not against me on Tiger Woods).

Thanks in advance

Yes....apply and look away. You can't sign a contract till you get the EAD, but if you get that based on marriage to a USC, unauthorised work is usually forgiven.

Thanks for the advice Bob. Its worked already.

I just called a long time friend who runs a company out of Atlanta to see if he had any sales positions available on his books. Turned out he is looking to expand and create a presence in New York area and so I am now a IT Recruitment Consultant for the Tri-State area.

Top Day!!
