To echo everyone else, Lingo is great - though I have had one or two sound quality problems now and again.

haha - sounds like my family, slow and painful! If you have them on peer to peer on Skype then there is no benefit to VOIPSTUNT - that just gets you free landline calls too!

I've been using Vonage for all US calls and have just started using Skypeout for calling UK. Vonage charges $5 per month for a UK "virtual number" that forwards all calls to the UK number to our phone in US (great for my in-laws). You will get a lot of "but x is better than y" (substitute Vonage, Lingo and Skype and any other VOIP service for x and y) on discussion forums, but overall with the internet, phone calls are becoming free and each VOIP service has advantages and disadvantages.
Both Vonage and Skypeout are great, as the postings say, but are only as good as your broadband connection -- do check this BEFORE going over to VOIP. See for example http://www.testyourvoip.com/ for testing your connection
