(you know the ones where your driving in your car and your just about to pull in to your nearest target or ralphs store etc and the ignorant, people just walk right on out in front of you
are you saying that techically isnt allowed??
What I mean is that however wrong the pedestrian is, you're still not allowed to run them over. In my case it was a woman weaving her way through lines of cars stopped at the traffic lights.

Me and Mr Katsu both did ours at the Santa Clara DMV in the last couple of weeks and the test itself was over in a flash. We both got marked down for 'traffic checking', despite exaggerated mirror checks and revolving heads! The only manoeuvre was reversing parallel to the curb for about 2-3 car lengths; Mr Katsu hit the curb and wasn't marked down for it.

Some people struggled to drive in a straight line in the car queue you join waiting for the examiners so I'm sure you'll be just fine. Worst part is all the queues inside the DMV - it's a horrible place!

Good luck today

Me and Mr Katsu both did ours at the Santa Clara DMV in the last couple of weeks and the test itself was over in a flash. I just used the foot brake when at junctions, and it wasn't noted at all. We both got marked down for 'traffic checking' despite exaggerated mirror checks and revolving heads! The only manoeuvre was reversing parallel to the curb for about 2-3 car lengths; Mr Katsu hit the curb and wasn't marked down for it either.

Before you drive off you have to show the indicators work etc. and point to all the controls on your car and beep the horn. Some people struggled to drive in a straight line in the car queue waiting for the examiners so I'm sure you'll be just fine. Worst part is all the queues inside the DMV - it's a horrible place!

Wishing you lots of luck today

I passed , only just though-all was fine, literally yards from the DMV the woman started being all chatty (she also passed my husband earlier this morn) saying 'ooh you're a better driver than your husband' and making small talk. I then failed to see a pedestrian on the far side of the 4 way I was about to cross. When we then stopped she said well I should fail you for that. I was like but you started chatting to me! Anyway, she said I'll let you go, but 'work on that'. Pleased I passed but angry with the woman (and myself)!

I'm sure they're placed there by the DMV! The one that almost got me failed was doing something I've not seen before or since. Anyway, you passed and so you can forget about it now. Have a drink! But don't then drive!
