The place to aim for is around 0.5% or more on the cash back. Dunno what houses are selling for over there, but I'd expect more than a monkey. Real cash is not a gimmick to me.

Would seem that if it isn't, this guy could be in big trouble. A 2-minute Google found: http://www.greencashback.com/. Guy's definitely offering cash back -- can't be bothered with the details so find out yourself if you're interested. Not a recommend, merely given to show that it is possible, even in the Carolinas.
