Business class at only a bit above economy prices
My dad just sent me this link - seems to be some reasonable deals if you don't mind traveling from JFK to Stansted - all seats on the planes are business class seats from $779 return:
https://www.maxjet.com/
Thought somebody might be interested (JFK is not really worth the extra hassle for me probably).

Maybe he got sucked in by this from the About Us page:
As MAXjet was taking shape, many people had doubts that an airline could consistently offer a quality business class service between the US and London for a fraction of current rates, or even for a fare one would often pay to sit in economy.

Still looks like a great deal and great prices to me. Let's hope they survive...

Think there are now several carriers who are offering ALL biz class to a few airports. I had read about this outfit last year. It is almost half what I've seen the cheapest wholesale biz class go for.

Not such as great deal if you ask me (which no one did!). I can get business from AUS to LHR return from $2500 through our corporate travel agent with AA.
Also what's up with their US/UK pricing, when did 779USD=599UKP? I wish I could convert my money at those rates! I did consider trying this when my dad comes over for thanksgiving, but if you go from the UK, you have to pay in UKP, even though I will be paying in $, so this would not make sense....

The ticket price is in the currency of the country where travel, ie the fare originates-if the ticket is "run" in another country, they take the currency and convert it into that country's currency.

Do you mean travel US to UK or buy the ticket in the US vs buying it in the UK?
Here's an example: United leaving London on 10 Oct to JFK returning to London on the 17th. GBP into USD with taxes
BF GBP TX USD TX USD TX USD EV USD TOTAL USD
XT TAX YC TAX XY TAX
235.00 96.69 5.00 7.00 428.00 536.69
WKXNN17W
235.00 96.69 5.00 7.00 428.00 536.69
Now the opposite, same dates, same airline:
BF USD TX USD TX USD TX USD TOTAL USD
XT TAX YC TAX XY TAX
402.00 96.69 5.00 7.00 510.69
SKAXZ04/WEB
402.00 96.69 5.00 7.00 510.69 TTL *LOWES

Cuz you are also involving a conversion-GBP to USD as opposed to USD to USD.
