British Passport price change - 10 January 2011
The cost of a British Passport changed today (it went down).

Why does it change so often? I don't recall the price in the UK fluctuating that much. I got mine and my 2 kids new passports delivered yesterday morning (total around $518) and in the afternoon I see the announcement on Facebook that the price has gone down!

Well this change is because of the scrapping of the national identity card provisions, so passport processing has become easier, I assume. Last time it went up was because of the introduction of those provisions.
