There used to be a British store in Port Jefferson on Long Island but I understand from a friend it has closed now. I haven't confirmed this myself - I know they did move their store. The great thing about this shop was they sold the pies and sausages from NYC's Myers of Keswick and were actually cheaper! They also sold Monster Munch and Walkers for a $1 a bag. Pot noodles as well.
Not only do Indian stores sell British stuff but I've found any Asian store does. There is a Chinese/Japanese market near Stony Brook and I can get loose tea at a good price

My local supermarket is King's which used to be owned by M &S and still sell some of their products ie tea. They also have M & S seasonal foods, Xmas pudds, biscuits etc. So its not too bad around here. Also our daughter is at uni. in Toronto so we can get a much larger variety of British goods there, especially crumpets and hot cross buns year round!!!

After 10 years I have found enough British goods to get by. Would like a greater assortment of Cadbury's but perhaps that's just as well, as I would 'pig out'. It would be nice to have some new potatoes though. I have a deep fat fryer and make proper chips every now and then, togther with a piece of cod, Batchelor's mushy peas and vinegar. Woo hoo!!

Where I am in CT, Stop&Shop, Shop Rite A&p/Food Emporium and Big Y all have British ("Irish") food sections - the Shop Rite in Stamford even has fresh Irish sausages, bacon and black pudding.
Then there's a bunch of specialist importers around here - UK Gourmet is my favourite.

Nothern Virginia (Washington DC area)
We have a little store called British Pantry.
They have a good selection of stuff and a refrigerated section, well one cooler anyway.
They also sell online.
http://www.thebritishpantry.us/
We also have Wegmans x 2.
Harris Teeter also have a British foods section.
Now for the best part there is an organic traditional butcher in a town called Middleberg out in hunt country.
Sandy Lerner - the co-founder of Cisco Systems - recently started Ayrshire Farm in Upperville, VA. In nearby Middleberg, she opened up a high end Butcher Shop called Home Farm. Her farm is all organic and uses humane methods to raise the animals.

They have some wonderful authentic bangers and irish sausages. They make them fresh daily!
They also have a pub I need to try.
