Just wondering for those of you who have applied for a passport through the BC in DC (hey I'm a poet... or maybe even a Rapper!! Ahem... sorry)... when the payment has been taken (I gave them my card details for payment), how long after did your passport show up?

Also, is it normal to be completely ignored when you submit a request for a status update on their website? How about being told on the phone line that you would get a call regarding your application within 72 hours and that was a week ago? Normal?
