Default bringing medications

Hi,

I got a call from my dad earlier saying he was gonna come over and visit (Nice to get a visit.. its a long time between them due to the cost.. I've been in the USA for 8.5 yrs already!) - but he had a question regarding bringing prescription medication over, and I honestly couldn't think of where else to ask..

Its nothing crazy.. just beta blockers.. blood thinners.. that kind of thing. Does he need a note from his doctor explaining what they are? I believe the most of them are in blister packs, not a bottle with name on etc.

Thanks in advance!

A letter or the prescription is always good to have but I've never been questioned or needed it and I bring things like ice packs and bypass x-ray type devices.

If they are in their prescription bottles, he can take up to a 90 day supply without problems.

It's because they've been asked many times...so we know the answers off by heart.
