Welcome to BE!
Well, the visa thing has been covered to some degree. If it's a company transfer and you get a L1, as spouse would get a L2 and be allowed to work if that's something you're interested in.
As for giving birth. Well there are loads of threads on the subject. Quality of care does vary massively, just like any other country. End of the day, it'll depend on your insurance, what the co-pays are and the like as to how much it will cost you. Also the big difference here tends to be having no home nurse visits after birth, nor any home visits from the doctor is anything is wrong with the baby.
When you move over, you'd be what, second trimester? You may or may not have troubles finding a OBGYN willing to take you on as a new patient. Plenty of places where this isn't a issue, but plenty of others where you see doctors not wanting to take someone on after they hit the second trimester mostly from a liability stance I would guess. The giving birth bit is easy, turn up to the hospital and pay the bill or show insurance.
The real issue will be suddenly finding you don't have a network of friends or family on hand to help you out an not knowing the area all that well to build up your own network of stuff.
Not meant to put you off, but it's certainly something to consider.
Wiki up top has a lot of good info on relocation packages and visas, though in your circumstances and the relocation, if you decide to have the baby here would be to have the company stump for the cost of baby births registration, certificate and UK passport, which is a hefty sum of cash that you wouldn't need to consider if born in the UK.

There are quite often delays in visa processing... as you'll be second trimester if it goes as planned you might want to make plans for what if it takes another month or more and you're unable to fly for some medical reason. Some airlines get antsy with very pregnant women. Just saying you might want to have lots of back up plans regarding timing.
Hope it goes well!
