I was working in London, and living in Woking, but my hometown is Portsmouth. I still have family and friends there, and l'll be heading back for xmas this year

So what brought you to the States, been here long? I'm in my 3rd year. I lived in Chicago for a while too.

l married an American girl, been here 17yrs now. I got my citizenship in 2002 in Miami, we lived in south FL for about 9 yrs, before moving to TN. I sure wish l was back in FL, l don't care for TN much, it's a bit like going back in time, coming here !

17 years is a long time. Well we're here for now, but I don't think it will be forever. We'll either be closer to Florida or maybe California....but for for a while yet though until our kids are a little older.

I know what you mean though....there are some real loons here.
