Congratulations - ours was 4 months too - fully expected around 18 months.

Wow and congratulations!!! That's a huge difference than being stuck in the backlog for years and years!! I'm really pleased for you, not to mention my oh is still gathering info to hopefully go the same route.

Submitted the application in Sept 2004 and I am still bloody waiting.
My lawyer contacted the USCIS a couple of months ago to try and get some answers, they said the delay was due to an address change and they would have a decision by Sept 2006.
