Blooberg for President?
"The New York mayor, Michael Bloomberg, is dropping his affiliation with the Republican party, sparking widespread speculation that he intends to run for president.
The former Democrat, who switched to the Republicans for his first mayoral run, said that becoming an independent would allow him greater flexibility in decision-making."

Should be interesting, but indie's have never really done well, so wonder if this will hurt more than not?

My head is sore already just contemplating next year's elections. Lived through the chads and am barely alive to tell it.

My power steering went out on my van the other day, luckily as I pulled out the driveway. I reverse back and bugger it if there wasn't a bloody dead rat lying in the driveway. Chewed right through some cable or other

Your rats have been out and about lately? Maybe one or both are the culprits?

The inlaws have 3 chipmunks living in the rock wall out front, saying that, they've only seen two of them lately, so the git that nibbled the car might have been fried

you're lucky... we have about 15 chipmunks, 20+ rabbits, couple of racoons, enumerable squirrels and worst of all... a bajillion mice.
exactly how do you stop mice coming into the house? we've probably killed 10 in the last 3 months... fuggers keep coming in and eating my basmati.

Oh, try and find out where they're coming from. There must be an opening somewhere.

"greater flexibility in decision-making" flip flop, keep the voters guessing on where he stands day by day etc

As for the mice, find the holes in the walls and fill them with wire wool before covering the holes up, as it'll stop them chewing through again....either that or get a cat

Re: Blooberg for President?
As I said in an earlier thread, I haven't started researching the candidates yet so I could be all wrong here. Having said that...
My concern with these NYC candidates is that they are under some delusion that since they were pretty good at running NYC, they should be pretty good at running the rest of the Country. The trouble is, NYC, LA and San Fran are in no way representative of that big chunk of ground in the middle. What does the former Mayor of New York know about the needs, concerns and values of a rancher in the Midwest? I would rather have someone with national experience.
