We got a great deal on an HDTV last year on Amazon. I hate the crowds as well!

Tough. According to the very confused instructions the employees at our local Walmart are getting, customers will be able to queue for and receive "bracelets" for ONE type of electronic item only. You can apparently get as many TVs as you want if you're in the TV queue but they won't let you get both the tv and the game system.

Of course, the instructions have been changing every day so who knows what will actually happen. Oh, and the TV commercials say electronics go on sale at 5 but the employees have been told to start handing out the bracelets at 2...

Just got an e-mail from Michaels - they are giving 60% off the cricut cartridges Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

The only thing I am planning to do is get dudes Macbook - it's the only day of the year apple gives anything off so I might as well buy on Friday however the deals are available in-store and on-line so I will be shopping from the sofa !

Thanks CB, got that email too. I don't use the cartridges as I have a programme that allows me to design my own stuff or use any True Type Font that I download!

chartreuse is an unknown quantity at this point

Looked at a $200 laptop in WallyWorld's ad, but it turns out it's not got the graphics support for SWMBO's game. So I get to sleep in. Hoorah!

Midway have a digital scale, accurate to 0.1 grains, down from $40 to $15. I'll try to snag one of those, as I'm working up a load for an old Webley with only a 0.2 grain margin of error - so it might well come in handy. But that's online, so it's just a matter of being awake at 00:01 Friday, then going to bed.

Does your set up support Postscript? I ask 'cos, back in the day, TruType fonts tended to have way too many control points, which would bog down the RIP. Postscript was always a lot faster.

I do really need to update my black and white set, so it will have to be the telly I guess. No one has asked to check my licence yet, probably more for colour?

Ehhh can you convert that into non geeky speak for me lol!? I have no idea what you are talking about. All I can tell you is I can load any TTF including dingbats and the Sure Cuts a Lot programme will recognise them. I can design in a normal graphics programme and get it trace and convert them tto SVG files and cut those too. Guess that's all I really need to understand really

Useful for weighing out the baggies, too.
