To be fair I rarely go to woodfield - crimbo shopping will be done in a day in 2 weeks when I head up to kenosha and gurnee - its a long old day but it all gets taken care of then and there.

Re: Black Friday
NO WAY!
I'm going to see the new James Bond movie today instead.
However.....if you really feel the need to get a bargain at 'Black Friday' prices you can buy it all online from the big stores like Target, Best Buy and Circuit City etc. here:
http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/ (Apparently the bargains on offer are updated throughout the day)

The rednecks were out in force here to get their 52" plasmas for their front decks.
The BestBuy near me had people camping out last night. Hope they enjoyed the 38 degree weather.

I went once, a couple of years ago, never again!...the store was supposed to be opening at 8am,but because there were so many people waiting they opened at 7am instead, needless to say, this item I was after had long sold out...but low and behold, when they got more in stock after xmas they were the same price!....complete waste of time...never again,I can't think of anything I need that badly!...Sophia

Re: Black Friday
I've just heard on the radio that the online equivalent of Black Friday will be next Monday (and the busiest time is when office workers take their lunchbreaks ie. between 12 noon and 3pm).
There is even a website called CyberMonday:
http://www.shop.org/cybermonday/
http://www.cybermonday.com/shopping/sp____.htm
As usual, most of my Christmas shopping will be done online, especially where the retailiers offer free shipping...I hate the crowds.

Re: Black Friday
I've just discovered that American Express has just opened its first ever 'members lounge', similar to a frequent flyer airport lounge, at my local mall.
Might just have to pop in there for free coffee and snacks he he :
