I also recorded their infamous anti-art moment of burning the million Pounds.

This must be the fastest moving thread i've seen on here I can see we're running out of bands when the LA's get a mention though
What about Coventry's indie darlings The Primitives? They were good...well until that bloke (Ian Broudie?) started singing on the albums...I seem to have it in my head that he formed the Lightning Seeds later? May have that wrong though...

OT- anyone heard the mix of Pet Shop Boys vs. KLF mix of "So Hard"?

The eighties/nineties reminds me of Stock, Aitken and Waterman. They had a slew of artists who had hits written and produced by this team. I wonder if any of SAW's artists managed to carve a career in the US.

There's a lot to choose from:
Bananarama, Kylie (I won't forget how Record Mirror called her "pseudounderagesexdwarfchild"), Sinita, Rick Astley, Brother Beyond, Sonia, etc.

What about Mel and Kim (the sisters, not Mel Smith and Kim Wilde)? They had the right kind of sound and sassiness for the American market.
