Thanks for the link, I'll give it a look.
Bob, If you are interested in that show then I could put it on my FTP?
The quality was crap but perfectly watchable - and sooooo funny!

What I as a Yank want to see on BBCA is NOT what I can see or have seen on the PBS stations. I've never like Benny Hill-too slapstick to suit. If they are going to show comedians from prior decades, I'd vote for Dave Allen any day. I wouldn't mind 'Allo, 'Allo, Bread, or even Yes Minister if we have to see "old stuff."
getting down off soapbox now.............

I intend to write to the big wigs at BBC America, and ask them if they will look into possibly showing that other top comedian from the British Isles.... what's his name ??? Aurthur Askey I think ???
Never heard of him but I'll definitely watch out for him, I've never even seen his programme advertised on BBCA. I have heard of the other bloke but I think his name is spelt Arthur Askey.

How about Will Hay? 'Winbag the sailor' and 'Ask a policeman' are my personal favorites. They don't make them like that anymore. Black & White, no swearing, you used to be able to go to the local confectionary shoppe and buy sweets for the whole family, and still have enough change from a tanner for a fish supper and a couple of pints of mild.

Even the old Gracie Fields films wouldn't look out of place on BBC America
