Neifi Perez had us all here when they signed him.

interesting tidbit is that Detroit traded Jeremy Bonderman for Jeff Weaver years ago and could go head to head.

It's even becoming popular in Australia and China.

It cracks me up that Europeans continue to believe that this is some bizarre provincial game that only the uncouth Yanks are stupid enough to like. Taking it out of the Olympics was ridiculous.

don't the aussies win enough gold medals as it is?

I'd like to see snooker in the olympics, we'd be a shoein for a couple of medals there.

Not to mention Japan and Cuba... where the level of play probably exceeds our own....and thank God for the World Series... where we allow the Canooks to come if they win (once or twice as I recall) their League.

OK, point taken. There are a handfull of other unstable, dodgy nations which imitate America's love of a complicated version of rounders.
Allright, debatable exception being Oz. Its still not as good as Cricket.
