AVLOS code question.
Hello,
One of my old visas has the following stamp:
"AVLOS Refusal under 214(b). Code 41 overcome."
Can anyone tell me what that means?
Thanks.

Re: AVLOS code question.
AVLOS stands for Automated Visa LookOut System. It means that your name
was stored in a computer system shared between INS and Department of
State for some reason and came up as "suspicious". 214(b) means that the
reason for the denial was that they suspected you actually plan to
immigrate. I don't know what code 41 is.
