Right now I don't consider myself 'just visiting' rather than stuck here as I can't see a way to get us all living in the UK. I'm literally only here to be with my wife, and I feel no obligation to down play my pride in being British, nor does anybody I know feel offended by it. I don't knock the USA, I've nothing personal against it, it's just not for me.

We all left the UK, but some of us do still long to return.
+1, I am in the same place as you are. We are about to have our first child, I am hoping to move the family back to the UK, I feel more comfortable having my son grow up in the UK vs Arizona, but we are still considering our options..

Is your wife American or British? Mine being American is just one extra hurdle, but I'm working on it!

Would not open for me, but hardly a credible source. So no biggie.

I know somebody who has actually met Sheriff Jo, admittedly socially, and he is nearly as much a cynic as me but was reasonably impressed.

It opens for me. It refers to the Az DPS and doesn't include Maricopa Co Sheriffs Dept.

My wife is American, but she loves the U.K. its just the weather and food she is hesitant about, but 6 weeks paid vacation, universal healthcare, excellent education and weekends in Europe trump 2/1 week road trips and weekends in Rocky Point..

Oh and she wants 'her' Range Rover shipping from the U.S.A to the U.K, i've told her there are plenty of Range Rovers in the U.K. but she says, this one is hers, and she will drive it until it dies..

If/when we do move back to the UK, We plan on keeping our house in Arizona, and doing vacation rentals with it to help with its small mortgage..

She seen an old documentary recently on UK schools, it showed the kids singing in the morning assembly, it melted her... and she says she wants her son to be 'just like me'..

I like your pro and con list, quite similar to mine!
