I live in AZ, so it is perpetual sunshine. I have ties to Philly though and just spoke to a friend up there. They have had about an inch this morning and are expecting a lot more over the weekend. Do you have snow yet where you live? I lived in Philly for 10yrs and remember about 7 years ago we had over 36 inches in one night. It came halfway up the living room window. I was driving a little metro back then and it was completely buried, just a little mound in the driveway.
Anyway, it is shorts and t shirt today and out in the sunshine to do some yardwork. I would rather shovel sunshine nowadays, although I do miss going skiing every weekend like we used to.

. Yesterday was beautiful and I went for a ride on my bike through Papago Park with a huge smile on my face, knowing that before I left the house, I'd checked the weather back home and they had forecast minus temps for the night.

A bit of a icy rain here yesterday - many things got cancelled with just a bit of ice on the ground. Some schools closed. This is even before the snow hits !
Slightest excuse and they close things.

The black ice was pretty bad especially on the highway, right buggerd up the evening it did.

No snow here
the ski hills tentatively opened on Thanksgiving having made their own snow but it seems the real skiiers dont like man made stuff they go for the powder so everything is still eerily quiet.
Blue skies and temps above freezing .... is this really December ?
