Anyone in Central CT?
I recently moved to the US - central CT (Hartford/Tolland area) to be precise and I was wondering if there were any expats living nearby? It's been kind of hard to meet people out here, so would be good to catch up with some fellow Brits.

There's quite a few folks in CT on BE, probably can find them if you do searches for CT...seemed quite a few folks came over around the summer time.
Also I'm sure there's probably a meetup.com group, actually there is a New England and Boston one, which has a chap from CT in it...also probably find a few groups on FB.

Welcome! There are a few of us down the road in Fairfield County. What do you like to do in your leisure time? If you are having having difficulty meeting people, there are a lot of volunteer opportunities around the state and -- it may sound like a cliche! -- but volunteering is a great way to find folks with similar interests and get out into the community.
