Default Any one watching Piers Morgan tonight?

He's interviewing a pizza store owner who is offering a discount if you come in with a weapon! Mad America at it's best.
Thanks Piers for being a voice of reason. I don't care what you think about Piers, he's the only news guy over here willing to 'stir the pot' over gun control.

You should. He is a publicity whore, but with a (stereotypical) Brit perspective...I suspect intentionally controversial.

Based on his show's ratings, not many people are.

Sounds like a real "Douche" who is willing to scare his other customers off to make a political point, thus, forcing him to close his crap-hole down. Then, he will blame it on "Obamacare"

Ignorant Twot!

Well he probably says some things are pretty uncomfortable viewing for American viewers of a certain political bent. And he was the only anchor on tv who had the guts to aggressively confront the NRA.

That's not entirely true. There are quite a few in the news who address this daily. I'm glad Piers is doing what he's doing but I still can't stand to look at him.

I'm sorry but that's just not true. There are plenty of them doing it in a much less salacious way, even other Brits, like Martin Bashir.

Nothing to do with it, but Martin Bashir was on the Bill Maher show and Maher asked the panel if they were familiar with London, to which Bashir said, "Yes, I was born there." "Well, they just found Richard III's skeleton there."

WTF, expected better from Bill

You know ... when you don't know WTF you're talking about, it's better to just say nothing.

Bill Maher is very good in certain areas but I've heard him make some completely factually inaccurate statements.

I don't like the fact that he gives airtime to lunatics. Also, I feel like he's really doing the tabloid approach which brings everything down to the lowest common denominator. I agree with his position (actually I can't stand to watch him long enough to be sure but, from what I've heard, I think I agree with his position) so am conflicted.

Over to you.

He's a prat with a baby mouth but he's dead right on this one.

Oh. That was a bit tame. I was expecting to get a good roasting and start a lovely argument. Never mind.

I don't agree with his position and I don't like his bullying, overbearing, smart-arse, I must be right because I'm British approach. Plus he's such a smarmy, self righteous odious little man who was crap as a newspaper editor and is crapper at interviewing people unless he really likes you and then he fawns all over you.

He's the worst type of idiot: he thinks he's clever.

I agree that Bashir has a more palatable style and that Morgan doesn't do himself any favors but that's his style; brashly tabloid. The thing is, he has bought a lot of attention to the gun-control issue in a 'squeaky wheel' sort of way.

However I do dislike the way he keeps bringing that poor Sandyhook Father on over and over again, Made for painful viewing indeed.
