Default Any Mechanical CEng's out there?

Any tips for selling the CEng qualification on a resume / to potential employers who may not have heard of it?

Though there is no exchange between CEng and PE, presumably one can use experience used to gain CEng as evidence for the PE application? Faced with 16+ hours of exams I really don’t want to have to start over to get the relevant amount of experience.

I’ve got an accredited degree and I’ve been looking at the Texas Board of PE website, but I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had actual experience of going through any of the above?

Cheers.

David
