Default any good mortgage company for new arrivals

Hi we are based in Houston, and are thinking about buying a house rather than renting. But due to the credit set-up here, we haven't got much credit history.

Does anyone know of a good company that would look at credit history O/S (aus) so we won't get lumped with a ridiculos loan rate.

Thanks

Amanda

We used Wells Fargo. Our interest rate is 5%.
