Thats why we liked Winston-Salem. A growing city with lots of amentities but it still had a small town feel to it. I bet you get comments about your accent almost every day don't you. I use to get loads every day, not such much in Charlotte though as its a bit more cosmopolitan down this way

Have you been to Old Salem yet?

Its nice for a little half day out. We've done it loads of times as we used to end up taking relatives there when they visited. Well it was either that or shopping

Reynolda Gardens is nice to stroll around in too. We used to get an icecream and then sit on the bench in the rose garden sometimes. They've also got a really nice restaurant there called The Village Tavern.
