Just wanted to say congrats and thanks for posting all this - currently waiting to hear from Immigration re our E2.... it's been 1 week since we applied..... loving Fort Lauderdale and hate the idea of waiting for weeks on end until we can be there!

Yearly Average Rainfall in Florida - Current Results
it is a little wetter down there, i have heard it doesn't feel quite as hot due to the sea breeze? i have never been that far down as yet, so cannot attest personally, i think its just pretty hot and muggy no matter where in Fl you are!
Heres one for humidity

Hot and muggy was also my first impression when we came here for the first time (it was the end of August...) We are now living in a <<<snip>>> condominium but my girlfriend prefers a small house, so I'm looking at the suburbs right now.
Are you all here living in Ft. Lauderdale? I've received some offers in Coral Springs but they seem to be pretty expensive.. Do you have hints about affordable neighbourhoods with houses in the area?
