Default And another thing..

Does anyone know of an American brand of lemonade (like 'R.Whites') that's fizzy, sweet, available in California and isn't 7UP or Mountain Dew?

Some things are harder to live without than others..

If you mean clear Lemonade and have a Walmart near you; they have their own version called twist up. If you mean cloudy then try adding lemonade flavour kool aid type powders.

Theres a couple. Most supermarkets do sprite, and have an own brand too. Hubby also thinks theres one called sierra something or other, which is lemon/lime.

It may be an urban myth, but I was told that Sierra Mist has more caffeine than any other mainstream soda brand. Just worth knowing, since fizzy lemonade in the UK has no caffeine.

EDIT: It's a complete myth. At least I learned something today!

Sierra Mist doesn't have caffiene, that's what we let our kids order when we're at a restaurant. You might be thinking of Mountain Dew?

Sierra Mist is shit though...

Trader Joes has a pretty good one, but it's not clear like 7up.

There's an Italian clear lemonade out there, maybe Cost Plus World Market or Trader Joe's was where I got it. Don't see it on the Cost Plus Web site.

Santa Cruz lemonade is really nice. We get ours from Costco, but the availability is limited. We stock up in summer.

There is a still variety in a short, squat bottle, and a sparking in a taller, more slender bottle.

Someone also mentioned TJ's stuff. That's good too, but I prefer the Santa Cruz...

We have searched high and low. DH prefers Fanta Lemon--just can't get anything quite like it so he substituted Sierra Mist.
I thought the Trader Joe's one was right on the money, but noooooo.

Jones Lemon lime, I love it. No High fructose corn syrup, it's made with actual sugar
