Oh Good Lord. American women, as a demographic group, do not prefer you to their own men. The American women that happen to fancy you are the only ones. So, unless you've slept with every woman in the country and they've all sworn never to touch American cock again, your theory is shit. There are buckets and loads that don't care about you or your accent - they're just not the ones that you will ever know.

Well every one that hat is not pushing for an old age pension has shown an interest in me to be honest, I have never met one that has not had a smile or a nice word to say, pity I did not meet you …I might have put a smile on that grumpy face of yours…….then again.

Once you see one pretty face, you've seen 'em all. Problem is, there are just too damn many naive women out there who don't get to meet many non-USCs and are easily taken in just by the accent. Once they're around you enough, they'll see through the voice.

You won't find any anti-english people mate. They're just about the only people in the world that really like us. Most of them anyway.
You might get a few dick comments about kicking your ass in 1776 and you'd be speaking german if it wasn't for them. You'll have to work out a few comebacks for that. And if you do let me know because I still can't think of anything good.
You will stand out and get weird looks when you speak. It's a bit weird at first but after a while you get used to it. Being a northerner you'll definitely be asked if you are australian/irish/german.
Also when they find out you are english they'll ask where you are from, you'll tell them and they'll say is that near London and you'll say yes (because it's easier).
I actually think they americans take the piss as much as us, it's just our accents confuse them. For some reason they tend to think we know a lot and so believe everything we say.

American women are classy IMO, some might be a bit slow in the old brain-box department but they are kind and giving from what I have experienced…they dress smart and always look good unlike some of the women here in Australia unfortunately…I like American folk and have never had an experience with them in the 4 visits I have had…even the New York barmen are funny in a grumpy way, I asked one foe a scotch with ice and he filled the glass full of ice…I said “I only want a couple of pieces of ice please” his reply ” you wanna scotch on the rocks or don’t ya” classic American humour.:)

oh i see. I have a cheshire accent, so its not really very strong but certainly not posh. i actually love american accents, i think they sound enthusiastic. i dont mind ignorant people who know nothing about UK, just aslong as their friendly.

As I'm learning, some British men are a bit slow in the old brain-box too.
