Question American baby of an illegal immigrant

I am an illegal immigrant in the United States, and I deliver a baby girl. I know that she is automatically a US citizen. The father of my baby will have the permanent residency soon. I know that the citizenship of my daugther changes nothing for me, but is there any way I can regulate my status ? I am married to the father of my baby, here in the US. Please, be honest with your answers.
Thank You.

Tamicka.

It all depends on several things that we do not know.

It depends on how the baby's father is getting permanent resident status,
and if he will marry you. There are some methods of getting PR status, for
which if he would marry you, you could get permanent resident status too, at
the same time.

There are other ways of getting PR status for which, if he marries you, he
would lose his chance to get PR status.

If the father of your baby becomes a U.S. citizen (in several years), and
if he marries you, and if you entered the U.S. legally, then you will be
eligible to become a permanent resident.

Other than the above, unless you have a bachelor's degree, you have almost
no chance of getting legal status soon.

We are already married, and my husband will get his green card by being a refugee. I know that the citizenship will help me having the GC faster, but is there really no chance to adjust my status before ? Maybe the I-485 works for me ????
Thanks for your answers.
