Gotta say I preferred his UK version. This seems to have been adapted for the US. I still think the original Ali G character is the best. I was talking to a couple of American friends about it and it was totally lost on them.

Maybe I am in the minority here, but I don't find him funny at all. If this is the future of British comedy I may start pretending to be Australian

Pete, I don't think it is the future of Brit Comedy, I think it is the present, he has been around for a good few years now, have you seen shows like Little Britain or "I'll say Bo and you say Selecta", my wife not too keen on them though she just sits there and looks at me as if I were starnge finding these kind of programmes funny.

Its on HBO. Sunday night is a new episode, then they show it again on Tuesday and Thursday 9.30 - 10.00 central.

I guess he dosen't appeal to all people, but compared to shite american comedy, I think its priceless

I loved it when he was on the 11 O Clock Show and the first couple of UK series'. I can't watch it now, I find it too cringeworthy when he interviews famous people.

Little Britain is funny, they're showing season 1 on BBC America at the moment.

It's a cringe type of pleasure pain comedy....though I certainly got it a bit more when I went to Uni, and saw him in Egham, doing the shoot for the old folks home.....and he certainly has Staines down *l*

Brasseye was one of the best things I've ever seen on telly. Most fav episode when they were doing a prison spoof. The naughty prisoners had to have one eyebrow shaved off and sit in a canoe in the prison gym.

The pedo one was a classic!

I tried watching Jam, but that series was just too out there for me.

The day today is still good for a giggle though, i will have to get them on DVD.
